Sometimes your butcher may offer you some meat that is about to expire for real cheap, do NOT buy it! Remember you will be feeding the meat RAW, which means you want it as absolutely as fresh as possible since it will not go through the cooking process! I intend to prepare meat the same day I buy it, and freeze excess pre-made B.A.R.F. patties right away. I intend to buy meat by the 40# case from the butcher, but I will be making sure it is not extra-discounted due to being about to expire.
