I originally started this blog to share our experience as we journeyed through th world of raw feeding. Unfortunately raw did not work out for one of our dogs and so we no longer feed raw. =( However, I want to make clear, please do not look at our failed experience and assume raw is bad. Riley did exceptionally well on it. Henry however, did not. We believe this is due to his fragile condition and suppressed immune system. I believe also about kibble, that the best most expensive kibble just may not be the best one for your dog. Dogs are unique, and there is no one size fits all in how to feed your dog. I still continue to believe raw to be one of the best ways to feed your dog, *if* your dog does well on it.
I am just as capable as anybody of being wrong, please do not take my word for anything. My hope would be to provoke you to do your own research and find out for yourself. I also want to say, we cannot rely on our vets to tell us everything, nor can we rely on them to know absolutely everything. They are human beings like us.
Henry had another seizure, about 45 minutes ago. This one was the mildest of all the seizures he has ever had in our care. Thank goodness we had increased his meds!
